Meg Rentschler is an Executive and Business Coach dedicated to assisting leaders and their teams in maximizing the potential of individuals within their organizations, through executive coaching and/or customized team development programs designed to meet business objectives. Her work with executives focuses on fine tuning goals and aligning the individual’s goals with that of the organization as well as increasing insight, leadership skills and work-life balance. As a psychotherapist and a business owner in private practice for more than three decades, Meg has the benefit of understanding people and their challenges, as well as the keys to building a successful business.
Using a solution-focused approach in her work with individuals and teams, Meg helps management to identify goals and desired outcomes, maximizing inherent strengths within their teams and organizations, as well as addressing the challenges at hand. With over 24 years in the mental health field, Meg also has the experience to improve relationship dynamics in the workplace. Her knowledge of human behavior and her ability to work with individuals with a myriad of issues has proven invaluable for the companies with whom she works.
Additionally, Meg has extensive experience in working with executive and management teams in the worst of times. In her capacity as a Certified Critical Incident responder, she has intervened to re-establish stability and function following traumatic events in the workplace. Since beginning this work in 1992, she has responded to over 200 critical incidents, including but not limited to the trauma caused by accidents and deaths in the workplace, robbery, economic downsizing and natural disasters.
Meg graduated with her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and earned her Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive and Professional Coaching from the University of Texas at Dallas and is an Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation. Meg holds certifications in The Leadership Challenge, The Center for Creative Leadership 360 assessments, EQi-2.0, Winslow Assessment and NASA'a 4D team assessment.
Meg’s experience stretches across industries, having worked with clients in transportation, technology, financial, healthcare and service industries including American Airlines, First National Bank, Aetna Healthcare, Bell Helicopter and Hawker Beechcraft to name a few. She is currently on faculty in 2 Coaching Programs: the University of Texas at Dallas in the Graduate Program for Executive and Professional Coaching and Coach Academy International. She has served on the Board for the International Coaching Federation-North Texas Chapter. Meg lives in North Texas with her husband of 35 years and is thrilled that both adult sons are within a 30 minute drive.
