FAQ

Are there professional standards for the coaching industry?
Yes, there is a code of ethics, core competencies, accreditation processes and an International Coach Federation (industry association) that promotes the advancement of coaches. To learn more about this click here: http://www.coachfederation.org/ICF/

How will I know you are the right coach for me?
During our initial conversations and/or discovery session, together we will identify if this is an appropriate fit. So before you say "yes", you will have a sample of what the coaching experience will be like. Until then, click on my BIO page to learn more about myself and my approach in coaching.

How do I get started in the coaching process?
If you are interested in beginning the coaching process, please contact me via phone or email so we can schedule our initial discovery session to further explore the details of the coaching relationship.

What can you expect from me as your coach?
1. Be a partner in bringing out the best, the deepest, and the truest in you
2. Provide safety, encouragement and support; an environment in which you can relax and explore
3. Respect the confidentiality of the agreements we make
4. Expand your view of what is possible and promote discovery of new insights
5. Give you input, straight feedback and operate as a sounding board
6. Listen carefully to what you say and ask questions that increase awareness
7. Be an on-going resource for you in accomplishing your intentions

What if I sign up for this and decide it is not right for me?
This is a partnership and I want it to work for you.  Let me know what is  working for you and what isn't, I find that the clients who get the most out of coaching are the ones that prepare, fully participate and follow though with commitments.  That being said, if coaching is not a fit for you, we will end the contract.

What Client's Are Saying:

"Meg was my executive coach and helped me through one of the most difficult times in my career.  When we met I was struggling with an extreme amount of stress and feeling very overwhelmed.  She was able to help me refocus my energy on the most important things while actually freeing up time!  The impact of my work with Meg has made a significant impact to both my personal and professional life.  I would highly recommend Meg to anyone who wants to perform at their best!"

Amy Bixenman, Program Manager, Beechcraft Corp.

"I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Meg during my studies in the Executive Coaching Program at UTD where she is an instructor and supervising coach. Meg is simply premier at what she does in the coaching realm. She showed her enthusiasm, dedication and commitment to the profession in every interaction she had with our group, all of whom were aspiring coaches. I witnessed her skills in coaching on a regular basis over a one-year period and as a former executive, I learned a lot from her about developing my skills and reaching my potential as an executive coach. Her style is both encouraging and challenging with an intense focus on the needs of her clients. And I must say, the brilliance of her personality will make your day!  I highly recommend Meg for coaching work at the Executive or Personal level."
